Ella Kamm first joined Ripples her freshman year, when her first assignment was covering the new village budget. Since then, she has joined the editorial board and learned how to make the paper from start to finish. Outside of Ripples, Ella is a senior company member at Bella Via Dance Studio, where she performs and competes in ballet, contemporary and jazz styles, among others. She also enjoys being a part of Shorewood Model United Nations. In the fall, she plans to study political science and international relations at Tufts University. In addition to covering Shorewood issues, Ella had the opportunity to attend the School of the New York Times, where she completed a final project on the last Spanish language bookstore in Jackson Heights, Queens. This year, she is looking forward to expanding readership with the new website and working with the incredible Ripples Staff (and layout week snacks, of course).
