Abi Knox is a junior at Shorewood High School. She joined Ripples her freshman year as a writer and joined the editorial staff the following year. Abi spends most of her free time playing sports. She is a member of the school varsity tennis, basketball, and soccer teams. She also enjoys learning about the world at large, having spent three years living in Singapore before moving to Shorewood. Abi speaks English and Spanish, as well as a dismal amount of Mandarin. She joined Global Scholars and AFS club, as well as spent a month abroad in Alicante, Spain. In the little remaining time she has, Abi likes to read. Abi joined Ripples because it provided her with an opportunity to try out a new style of writing not often taught in the classroom. She enjoys learning about community events and helping inform others. But most of all, she loves spending time with her fellow editors and all the fun adventures they have.
